AMDRAS COA – Support Package

For candidates who trained with another provider, qualify through the AMDRAS Alternative Pathway or as an existing FDR practitioner, need a reinstatement assessment, or simply want extra support before their assessment.

Includes everything in the Standard Assessment:

• Written assessment component covering ethics, process knowledge, reflective practice and safety.
• 2 – 2.5 hour role play assessment with an independent assessor, with immediate, constructive feedback against AMDRAS assessment requirements.
• Online preparation course — self-paced guidance on the assessment process, what your assessor is looking for, and how to book each element of your package.
• Join our training role plays — participate as a role player or observer in Certificate of Training role plays.
• Sit in on Certificate of Training sessions to refresh your process knowledge.

Plus this extra support:

• A two-hour coached practice session with one of our Certificate of Training mentors — a 90-minute role play, as the mediator, plus live feedback.
• An individual one-to-one mentoring session following your practice role play, to work through any issues before assessment day.
• Option to observe other candidates’ assessments to experience the full 2 – 2.5 hour assessment format.
• Extra sessions at the package rate — additional one-hour mentoring sessions $190 (standard $250) and two-hour coached practice sessions $330 (standard $400).
• Book when you’re ready — when you feel prepared, book your assessment with our dedicated COA team.

That’s more than $1,350 of value — assessment $700, practice role play $400, mentoring $250, plus course and role play access — for $1,200.

Eligibility Criteria Apply

To be eligible to enrol in the COA Support Package you must meet one of these requirements:

• Certificate of Training with an AMDRAS Recognised Training Provider (under the AMDRAS Standards you must enrol within six months of completing your COT, and refresher training may be required if your assessment is not completed within 12 months), or
• Meet the requirements of an Alternative Pathway Protocol for the Certificate of Training, or
• Require additional training and/or assessment for renewal (where you have not met renewal requirements), or reinstatement.

For Alternative Pathway, FDR practitioner and reinstatement candidates, the Support Package is valid for six months from purchase.

If you aren’t successful you can purchase an additional assessment attempt ($400). We strongly recommend booking a one-to-one mentoring session first to work on the feedback from your assessor.

Completed your Certificate of Training with Mediation Institute and don’t need the additional support? You can enrol directly in the Certificate of Assessment.
