AMDRAS Certificate of Assessment (COA)

This option is exclusively for Mediation Institute Certificate of Training graduates.

If you completed your Certificate of Training with us, your training and assessment are already aligned. The role play assessment is conducted via video meeting.

What’s Included?

• Written assessment component covering ethics, process knowledge, reflective practice and safety.
• 2 – 2.5 hour role play assessment with an independent assessor, with immediate, constructive feedback against AMDRAS assessment requirements.
• Online preparation course — self-paced guidance on the assessment process and what your assessor is looking for.
• Join our training role plays — participate as a role player or observer in Certificate of Training role plays.
• Sit in on Certificate of Training sessions to refresh your process knowledge.

Trained somewhere else?

If you completed your Certificate of Training with another Recognised Training Provider, are eligible through the AMDRAS Alternative Pathway or as an existing FDR practitioner, or need a reinstatement assessment, please enrol through the AMDRAS COA – Support Package. It includes everything above plus extra practice and mentoring support.

Important Information

Is this an AMDRAS Assessment?

• Yes. This is an assessment under the AMDRAS Standards (October 2025). You must enrol for your Certificate of Assessment within six months of completing your Certificate of Training, and if your assessment is not completed within 12 months you may need refresher training first.

If you aren’t successful

• You can purchase an additional assessment attempt. We strongly recommend booking a one-to-one mentoring session first to work on the feedback from your assessor.
